I'm off to CHILDCARE
Noah began childcare shortly before his first birthday. Like many families, both parents needed to work, and making the decision to start childcare was incredibly difficult. We knew the transition would be challenging, and I wanted to give Noah all the support I could to help him feel safe, prepared, and understood.

When I searched for resources to guide us through this change, I quickly realized there was nothing available that met our needs. So, using my background in special education, I created a personalized book just for Noah—something we could read together every morning before childcare. It helped us talk about the day ahead in a fun, interactive way and gave Noah comforting familiarity during a time of big change.

After Noah passed away, I found myself unable to return to teaching due to my grief. Yet I still felt a deep desire to use my knowledge and experience to help others. Creating this book became a way to honour Noah while supporting children and families navigating the childcare transition. I understand the pain, worry, and anxiety that can come with leaving your child, and I wanted to create something that could make this journey a little gentler, a little brighter, and a lot more reassuring for families who need it most.
“As a mum, having this resource to support our transition made the tough mornings a little easier. Drop-offs are never simple during big changes, but this book helped me feel like I was doing everything I could to support my child.”
