This book was inspired by Noah’s joy for interactive flap books and his love of looking at photos of the people closest to him. Born during the height of the COVID pandemic, Noah grew up connecting with friends and family through pictures and videos rather than in person. Creating this book became a meaningful way to bring together his favorite things—days at the park, playful peek-a-boo moments, lift-the-flap surprises, and the comfort of seeing familiar faces.

What makes this book especially special is the ability to place a loved one’s photo behind any flap. For our family, it has provided great comfort to keep Noah’s smile present for children and relatives who never had the chance to meet him. We hope this book can offer the same gentle connection for others— whether to honor the memory of someone who has passed or to stay close to loved ones living far away.
